1. After assembled the upper bodices to the peplum, Attached the facings to the neckline.

Re-drafts and details

1. Yellow Floral

– Neckline down by 1cm

– Flat collar (without stand)

– Facings to be used from neckline to central front till the hem.

– Allowance of 1 cm at central front, use to connect the facing

2. Blue Pokka Dot

– Neckline down by 1 cm

– Collar stand plus peter pan collar

– Band to be used for the upper bodice central front thus no allowance required

– Lower Flare bodice will be in two parts but without band which required 1 cm allowance

– Cap Sleeves tentatively (may change to other type)

3. Pink Floral

– Neckline down by 1 cm

– Flare layer at the waist (Additional of 8 cm plus waistlength)

– Zip at the back or at the side

– For the lower bodice, split at the darts to get the flare, no additional allowance at the waistlength)

Updates on the assemble of bodices

1. Joined both the shoulder seams of the main garment.

2. Pinned the two layers collars to the right side of main garment.

The lower layer:

The second layer overlapped the first layer.

3. Pinned the Linings (right side facing the main garment) on top of the collars.

Sewed from the wrong side of the lining.

4. Pinned the side seams of the main garment together.

5. Sewed both side seams.

Following steps:

1. To pin the lining to the zipper and handstitch.

2. To join the lower front bodice and back bodice together.

3. To attach the lower part of the dress to the bodice.
